We Are the 2025 Czech Company of the Year!

A powerful team, long-term expertise, and innovation across a wide range of widely utilized solutions—with these words from the expert jury, Monet+ (which includes our ProID product line) accepted the top prize in the national round of the prestigious 2025 Company of the Year competition. The gala evening took place on December 11, 2025, at the Žofín Palace in Prague.

“Our products contribute to the security and convenience of everyday life. They operate quietly and inconspicuously, yet they are built on robust and precisely engineered solutions. I view this title as confirmation that our work holds an indispensable value for users—and that I work with exceptional colleagues. This award reflects the quality of their daily efforts,” says Jan Vavrys, CEO of Monet+. The real-world impact of Monet+ solutions in digital identity and payments across government institutions, the financial sector, critical infrastructure, healthcare, and private enterprises is indeed substantial.

Currently, our technology supports 5.5 million bank identities in the Czech Republic, processes over 1.8 billion transactions annually, and authorizes payments exceeding €100 billion per year. Thanks to Monet+ solutions, payments from over a quarter of a million terminals are processed worldwide. The company also plays a significant role in the digitalization of public administration—over 31 million electronic documents have been issued in the Czech Republic using our technologies. Furthermore, more than 180,000 employees utilize our ProID product line to protect their digital identities. The list continues: under our Switchio brand, we enable open-loop payments for EV charging and facilitate contactless transit ticketing. Additionally, our eSign service ensures the highest level of electronic signatures in compliance with the European eIDAS regulation.

“I value this title particularly because it is not a paid PR activity; one must prove their merit against a field of other outstanding companies. It is a moment to pause, take a breath, and enjoy the satisfaction of a great result,” Jan notes. However, in the fast-paced digital industry, there is little time for a long pause. “We must anticipate where technology is heading to ensure we remain at the forefront and continue to grow alongside our customers through high-quality work,” he adds. Looking ahead, we will focus on further development and expanding the distribution network for our product lines both in the Czech Republic and internationally, where our solutions are already active in more than 50 countries.

Additional Recognition for Monet+

The Company of the Year title is not the only accolade Monet+ received this autumn. in late November, the Ministry of Transport’s project for “Driver’s License Delivery to Automated Parcel Lockers”—in which we played a major role—scored a win at the eGovernment The Best 2025 awards. We also brought home the Digital SME Tech Solution Award from the CEE25 SME Banking Conference in Warsaw for our alternative SCA method: the USB Hardware Token.
