The client’s requirements
The client wished to equip their customers with a secure authentication tool, as well as facilitate simpler processes for serving them through the utilization of smart cards for Česká spořitelna online banking.
The solution delivered
We supplied the client with our ProID+ system for strong two-factor authentication via PKI smart cards, software utilities for certificate renewal and card-content management, and integration of the system in the client’s environment. Provision of the smart cards included the personalization and distribution of the cards and management of their validity.
Benefits of the delivered solution
The bank was better able to serve its customers at points of sale. The entire process of the distribution of security tools was simplified, comprising smart cards and smart card readers, although everything remained under the full control of the bank’s business management staff.
Our solution also enabled ČS to provide its customers with a greater level of secure, convenient access to digital utility channels.
