Workforce Security a Key Element of Information Security in any Organisation
Poorly secured employee digital identities can lead to a range of cyber-attacks that attackers use to compromise accounts and systems.
The State of Cybersecurity in the EU (2024 Report)
On 3 December 2024, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) published its first annual Report on the State of Cybersecurity in the EU, covering the period from July 2023 to June 2024.
The report includes a graph showing the number of incidents categorised by different types of threat. Nearly 40% of these attacks are related to poorly secured digital identities, be it Ransomware, Social engineering threats, Malware or Supply chain attacks.
This report serves as a powerful reminder of how crucial it is to prioritize the security of workforce digital identities. It also highlights the importance of organizations taking proactive steps to address this challenge and strengthen their cybersecurity practices.
